Paso is a Chrome extension that turns every new tab into a productivity dashboard. It includes a pomodoro focus timer, a to do list, a habit tracker, a day planner, a notepad, soundscapes, quick links, a weather pill, and an optional translator.
This policy explains what data Paso handles and where it goes. The short version is simple. Paso has no account and no servers of its own. Your data stays on your device. A few optional features send the minimum needed to a third party to work.
1. Data we collect
We, the developer of Paso, collect nothing. Paso has no backend server. Your data never reaches us.
All your content is stored locally in your browser. This includes your tasks, habits, plans, notes, focus history, activity log and settings. It is kept in localStorage, IndexedDB and chrome.storage on your own device.
If you turn on the optional sync feature, Chrome syncs supported data, such as tasks, habits, plans and quick links, through your Google account using chrome.storage.sync. Notepad and sticky note contents are excluded. It still never passes through our servers. This feature is off until you enable it.
2. Data sent to third parties
Some optional features need to contact a third party to work. When they do, only the data needed for that feature is sent, and it goes straight from your browser to that service. We never see it. These transfers happen only when the feature is used.
- Weather. To show your local forecast, Paso sends an approximate location to weather and location services. This uses Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com), and IP based lookup services (ipapi.co, ipwho.is). The data sent is a coordinate or an approximate location from your IP address.
- Translator. Translation uses the browser’s on-device translator when supported. An initial language model download may be required. Paso does not fall back to sending translation text to Google Translate.
- Quick Links icons. To show the small icon for a site you pin, Paso requests its icon from Google (www.google.com/s2/favicons). Only the site domain is sent.
- Soundscapes. Ambient audio files are bundled with the extension and play locally.
These services have their own privacy policies. Paso uses them only to power the feature you asked for.
Optional device encryption. Settings can enable encryption for saved Notepad and sticky note content. The key is stored in the same browser profile; this is not a lock against someone who can use that profile. Exported backups may contain readable content: follow the export warning and store them securely.
Website analytics. The separate pasofocusflow.com website uses Google Analytics according to your cookie choice. This does not add analytics to the extension.
3. What Paso does not do
- We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties, except to power the features above.
- We do not use your data for any purpose other than the single purpose of the extension.
- We do not use your data to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
- There is no tracking, no analytics and no ads inside the extension.
4. Data types, as listed by the Chrome Web Store
Network requests can include approximate location for weather, pinned site domains for icons, and supported data sent through optional Chrome sync. Providers also receive connection information such as your IP address. Notepad and sticky note contents are not included in Chrome sync.
5. Permissions
- storage saves your data on your device.
- contextMenus adds a right click option to send selected text, a link or a page to your tasks.
- declarativeNetRequest and webNavigation power the optional focus blocker, which blocks the sites you chose during a focus session. They check the domain against your own block list and read no browsing history.
- alarms clears the focus blocker rules after a session ends, so blocking never stays on by mistake.
All executable code ships inside the extension. Paso does not download or run remote code.
6. Children
Paso is a general productivity tool. It does not target children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
7. Changes
We may update this policy at any time. Updates take effect when they are posted on this page. Continued use of the extension means you accept the updated policy.

Bu politika, Paso'nun hangi veriyi işlediğini ve nereye gittiğini anlatır. Kısacası şudur. Paso'nun hesabı ve kendi sunucusu yoktur. Verin cihazında kalır. Birkaç isteğe bağlı özellik, çalışmak için gerekli olan en az veriyi bir üçüncü tarafa gönderir.
1. Topladığımız veriler

2. Üçüncü taraflara gönderilen veriler
Bazı isteğe bağlı özellikler çalışmak için bir üçüncü tarafla iletişim kurar. Sadece o özellik için gereken veri gönderilir ve doğrudan tarayıcından gider. Hava durumu için yaklaşık konum hava durumu ve konum servislerine gider. Çeviri desteklenen tarayıcılarda cihazda yapılır; ilk kullanımda dil modeli indirilmesi gerekebilir. Google Translate’e metin gönderme alternatifi kullanılmaz. Hızlı bağlantı ikonu için site alan adı Google'a gider. Ortam sesleri uzantıyla birlikte gelir ve cihazında çalınır. Sağlayıcılar bağlantı sırasında IP adresin gibi bağlantı bilgilerini alabilir.
İsteğe bağlı cihaz şifrelemesi. Ayarlar’dan açıldığında kayıtlı Not Defteri ve yapışkan not içerikleri şifrelenir. Anahtar aynı tarayıcı profilinde tutulur; bu profile erişebilen kişilere karşı kilit sağlamaz. Dışa aktarılan yedekler okunabilir içerik taşıyabilir; dışa aktarma uyarısını dikkate alıp yedekleri güvenli sakla.
Web sitesi analizi. Ayrı pasofocusflow.com sitesi, çerez tercihine göre Google Analytics kullanır. Bu, uzantıya analiz eklemez.
3. Yapmadıklarımız
Verini satmayız veya yukarıdaki özellikler dışında aktarmayız. Verini tek amaç dışında kullanmayız. Kredi amaçlı kullanmayız. Uzantı içinde takip, analiz veya reklam yoktur. Hava durumu için yaklaşık konum, simgeler için site alan adları ve isteğe bağlı Chrome senkronizasyonunda desteklenen veriler cihazından çıkabilir. Not Defteri ve yapışkan not içerikleri senkronizasyona dahil değildir.
