What is Paso?

Is Paso free?
Yes. Paso is fully free. There is no account and no subscription.
Does Paso work offline?
Yes. The core tools work fully offline. That covers the timer, tasks, habits, planner, notepad and badges, and your data stays in your browser. Weather, sounds and the translator are optional online extras.
Is my data private?
Yes. Everything is stored locally in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB). There is no account, no server syncing your data, no tracking and no API key.
What can the notepad do?
The notepad is a real editor built on CodeMirror 6. It has syntax highlighting for 16 languages, a live Markdown preview, code folding, multiple cursors, a command palette, find and replace, and open and save to disk. It all works offline. Press the dot key on a new tab to open it.
